Things that make this trip unique
For the wildlife enthusiast, few places can compare with Borneo particularly in terms of diversity and rarity. Borneo is roughly the size of Texas with endless places to explore. This itinerary is designed to capture some of the well known highlights along with some of the more remote (and untouched) destinations.
In addition to its flora fauna, we will be accompanied by leading lecturers to learn about the island's unique history and relationship with the Sultan of Brunei. We will also experience the contrasting scenery between an oil-rich metropolis and the backroads of Toli-Toli in Sulawesi. And of course, the orangutans.

If this is your one visit to Borneo, we think you will have the richest experience imaginable without being unduly overwhelmed.

If bad weather is forecasted, the captain will make every effort to avert it when possible,, and passengers are always forewarned in advance so they can take any prophylactic measures.
If this is an expedition, what are the physical requirements?
Each person must be ambulatory, The amount of walking or hiking is at the sole discretion of the individual and may limit access to certain destinations. If walking long distances or along uneven surfaces is problematic, hiking poles are strongly recommended.
