Cotton is ubiquitous in India and though Pima cotton is considered the gold standard when it comes to luxury sheets, malmal (mulmul) is the preferred cotton for both men and women in southern India. It is stunningly soft and gets even softer with every washing. Our malmal scarves are made from saree cloth with the traditional red and gold woven border, and then blockprinted in the north for a unique blend of textile traditions.
