Created by semi-nomadic women living in India's High Himalayas, these neck warmers represent a new chapter by empowering women who have severely limited means of earning an income at 14,500'. During the winter months when it is brutally cold, the women are able to come to the center, stay warm, work on their knitting and spinning, and enjoy the company of their fellow villagers.
