Our cashmere is directly sourced from Ladakh. It is the only cashmere mill in the world owned and operated by semi-nomadic people, living in India's High Himalayas.  Due to the extreme climate, the mill is only open a few months of the year. Recently, the mill converted to solar energy for heating the water used in scouring. Please note the cashmere is taken directly from the carding cloth and may still contain bits of dander that will naturally drop-off during spinning.  15.5 microns or less
