Stunning handwoven sisal basket from Tintsaba.
Founded in 1985 by Sheila Freemantle who wanted to help the women of rural Swaziland become more independent, Tintsaba now employs more than 700 weavers, spinners, and dyers throughout the country.
Tintsaba was featured in Wild Fibers Vol. 14. Issue 1, and is included on the South Africa/Swaziland Tour, which will resume in 2021.
